Buhari presents party flag to Anambra deputy gov as he defects to APC

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday at the presidential villa, Abuja, received the deputy governor of Anambra State, Dr Nkem Okeke, who recently defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Okeke was led to the president’s office by the Yobe state governor and chairman of the APC national caretaker committee, Mai Mala Buni, and governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, who is the chairman of the APC Anambra State governorship campaign.

The president presented that party flag to the deputy governor who is now expected to assume the role of the leader of the party in Anambra.
