The foremost support group of All Progressives Congress (APC), Professionals Council Oyo State chapter has thrown its weight behind the nomination of Alhaji (Chief) Ganiyu Akeem Adesina as the Director-General of Amalgamated APC Support Groups, describing him as a fit and best material capable to occupy the position in Nigeria.
The group made this known in a statement issued by its State Coordinator , Dr. Bamidele Gold and made available to journalists wherein it pledges the total support of all Professionals Council’s members for the nomination of Chief Ganiyu Adesina as the Director-General of AASG in Nigeria.
The statement stressed that Alhaji Akeem truly deserved the appointment considering his pedigree and experience in politics which he brought to bear when he mobilized other support groups across the south western States and beyond that worked together to campaign for the overall victory of APC during the last general elections.
The statement added that based on his past antecedents in the political scene of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole wherein he has displayed a high level of proactive, diligence, hard-working and accommodating trait coupled with different offices he has held including that of South West Chairman, AASG, Chief Ganiyu Adesina has all it takes to be the National Director-General of AASG.
While appealing to other support groups to give solidarity support to Amb. Ganiyu Adesina to emerge as the D-G, AASG in Nigeria, the group said with the leadership prowess he possesses, he has no doubt that he will be able to bring all the support groups together and address whatever challenges they might having been facing in preparation for the 2027 general elections in Nigeria.
