The Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubland, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has described the recent appointment of a member of council of Aare Ona kakanfo in Yorubaland, Dr. Kayode Ajulo (SAN, OON), as one of the Commissioner nominees by the Ondo State Governor, Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa has been quite commendable and applauded.
In a congratulatory statement issued by Hon. Ademola Ige and made available to journalists in Ibadan, he described Dr. Kayode Ajulo (SAN) as a seasoned figure within the rank and file of legal practitioners who has left his mark across the landscape of the country.
According to him, “Dr. Kayode Ajulo who is the Mayegun Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland has made indelible marks in his legal profession. His legal journey culminated in his elevation to the esteemed position of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) that he recently conferred with. Not only that he was also conferred with the prestigious honour of Order of Niger (OON) by the immediate past government of President Muhammadu Buhari.
It is therefore no surprise that Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa is honouring his outstanding service and unblemish professionalism by nominating him as one of his commissioners.
Therefore, on behalf of myself as the Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland and my immediate family I am congratulating Barr. Kayode Ajulo (SAN) on his appointment as Commissioner in Ondo State and pray that God will imbue him with wisdom, knowledge and sound health to carry out his onerous task as he continues to contribute his quota to the development of his home state, Ondo and by extension, Nigeria.”
