Army College of Education Matriculates 265 Students

The Nigeria Army College of Education (NACOE), Sobi Ilorin, has urged the 265 matriculated students of the institution into various programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session to key into the legacy they meet on the ground and pay due attention to their knowledge.

Addressing the matriculants, the provost of the college, Major General Nasir Babangida who congratulated the students for scaling the hurdles of qualifying the prerequisite qualifications necessary for gaining admission into the college, said, “We will do our best; they should put in their best to acquire what they came for and shun any form of social vice.”

He added that they should always conduct themselves morally.

Prof. Sikiru Banjo, the Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, (TASUED) Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, said that NACOE was affiliated with their university through a mutual agreement with the approval of NUC.

Banjo who was represented by the Director of Planning and Quality Assurance of TASUED, Prof. Owoyele Jimoh, noted that ever since then, the collaboration has been good and productive.

He implored the students to be decent in dressing, character, and speech and added that they should do away with anything that can ruin their lives and education, such as cultism and other social vices.

Meanwhile, the matriculation ceremony was the sixth one to be held on the institution’s premises.
