The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Salihu Mustapha has approved the installation of Internet facility in the Press Centre of the Kwara State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ilorin.
Senator Mustapha announced this to newsmen after Iftar with journalists at his residence in Ilorin, the State Capital last weekend.
He said the installation of the Internet facility at Press Centre would assist journalists in filing their stories with ease and in earnest.
The Senator, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Agricultural Production and Rural Services, said the gesture is geared towards ensuring the State NUJ Secretariat is Internet enabled, considering the enormity of task on Journalists.
Senator Mustapha therefore pledged to always be of assistance to the Council whenever the need arises.
