The Leader of Legislative Arm Ibadan South East local government, Rt. Hon. Oladepo Ayodeji has joined other well wishers to felicitate the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on the honour bestowed on him as the Most Consistent Politician by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oyo State council.
Ambassador Arapaja who was a deputy Governor of Oyo State was among the eminent personalities that were honoured at the grand finale of the weeklong programme of the 2023 press week held at Jogor Centre, Oke Ado, Ibadan yesterday.
In a congratulatory statement personally signed by hon. Oladepo Ayodeji and made available to newsmen, he described the award as well deserved, saying Ambassador Arapaja has over the years demonstrated consistency in Oyo State politics and Nigeria as a whole.
According to the statement, on behalf of the Legislative Arm Ibadan South East local government, I want to sincerely congratulate our father, leader and mentor, His Excellency, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on the well deserved Award confered on him by the NUJ Oyo State council,
His Excellency has demostrated uncommon consistency and he is one of the few politicians not only in oyo state but in Nigeria as whole that have thos rate quality and this is what we the younger politicians are trying to emulate.
His political sagacity, diligence and hardworking and loyalty have had tremendous impact in the governance of our dear state.
