NPFL: Kano Pillars vs Abia Warriors game suffers postponement

The Nigeria Professional Football League Match Day 14 clash between Kano Pillars FC and Abia Warriors FC earlier scheduled to be played on Sunday 20th February 2022 has now been shifted to Monday 21st February 2022.

Media Manager of Kano Pillars FC, Alhaji Rilwanu Idris Malikawa Garu made this known on Friday in Kano.

According to him, the club has received a communication from the League Management Company of Nigeria (LMC), through its Chief Operating Officer, Malam Salihu Abubakar about the change of date of the match for logistic reasons.

The statement from the LMC charged all stakeholders involved in the match to put all necessary logistics in place for the success of the encounter.

The Sai Masu Gida are hoping to bounce back from the back-to-back defeat suffered at the hands of Plateau Utd and Wikki Tourists when they welcome Abia Warriors at their adopted home, the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

Abia Warriors, a few days back, stopped Rivers United from topping the league despite playing a man down for much of the game. The match ended 1-1 in Okigwe.
