The Magistrate Court at Ubulu in Oru West Local Government Area of Imo State has been set ablaze by assailants.

The court was raised up in flames with petrol bombs.

The fire which began in the early hours of Tuesday affected the entire court building.

The Interim Management Committee Chairman of Oru-west LGA of Imo State, Willie Okolieogwo, while confirming the incident expressed displeasure over the attack.

The council boss said, although, the court was completely razed by the hoodlums, no casualty was recorded.

A source said the attackers came in their large numbers to carry out the attack.

The Imo State Police Command Public Relations Officer, CSP Michael Abatham when contacted confirmed the incident.

He said no arrest had been made, adding that investigation on the incident had commenced.
