Kwara Residents Express Worry over Closure Of Some Commercial Banks

Despite President Muhammadu Buhari’s directives on issuance of redesigned naira notes, some residents of Ilorin the Kwara state capital have expressed worry over closure of some commercial Banks to customers.

Our Correspondent who went round Ilorin metropolis observed that some of the banks in the metropolis were under lock and key and non dispensing of ATMs.

Meanwhile, some of the commercial banks customers who expressed displeasure over the closure of banks and empty Automated Teller Machines in the metropolis bare out their mind.

A resident, Mr Femi Johnson said that he had to resort to using Electronic banking and Point of Sale service, POS to transact business as the commercial banks he has account with had closed their branches since last week

Mr Paul Toyin who expressed worry that some traders, and business men demand for physical cash. appealed to the federal government to urgently enforce the president Muhammadu Buhari’s directives to alleviate the sufferings of the people.
