The immediate past Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Tourism and Culture, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has eulogised Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi on his re-appointment as the Chief of Staff to Oyo State governor.
Hon. Akeem Ige in a congratulatory message issued and made available to journalists described the Chief of Staff as an extraordinary human being full of wisdom, knowledge and capacity to lead others and a man of honour
Hon. Ige stated that his appointment by Governor Makinde is a confirmation of his doggedness and commitment to the advancement of Oyo State.
According to him, “I am indeed happy that His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde found you worthy of being re-appointed for the position of his Chief of Staff once again. This is a result of your steadfastness, dedication, loyalty, tenacity of purpose and determination to support the vision of Engr. Seyi Makinde’s developmental agenda.
According to the statement, “you have over the years demonstrated your absolute loyalty to the Governor and his vision to take Oyo State far better than he met it.
You are a Man of Honour whose loyalty to the course of Governor Makinde government is not in doubt and I am happy that the Governor has rewarded you with another opportunity to serve as his Chief of Staff.
Your role in Omi Tuntun 1.0 as the Director-General OYSIPPA, Chief of Staff, the recently held London Business Summit and indeed as the Chairman of the inauguration committee that ushered in Omi Tuntun 2.0 government of Governor Seyi Makinde and his Deputy, Barr. Bayo Lawal cannot be under estimated.” The statement said.
While praying God to imbue Otunba Ogunwuyi with needed wisdom, knowledge and sound health that will aid his success in the task ahead, Hon. Ige who is the Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland and erstwhile council Chairman and former Minority Leader in the State Assembly urged him not to relent in his commitment to the vision of Governor Makinde’s effort to ensure accelerated development of Oyo State.
