Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has unveiled the 28-man ministerial list submitted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The list was received at the red chamber this morning.
At resumption of plenary, the Senate went into an executive session to discuss the modalities and all issues around the nominees contained in the special correspondence from the president.
When the Senate returned from the executive session, the presiding officer announced a list of ministerial nominees as received from the president.
The list revealed that Chief AbdulWaheed Adebayo Adelabu is the nominee from Oyo state on the list.
Bayo Adelabu, was a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and 2019 gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Oyo state.
He also contested under the platform of the Accord Party in the 2023 general election after he defected from the APC having failed to secure its ticket to recontest under its platform in 2023.
Similarly, the immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Barr. Nyesom Wike, his counterparts in Kaduna and Ebonyi states also make the list of 28 man sent to the National Assembly.
