The immediate past Special Adviser to Governor Makinde on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has applauded the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for the wisdom he applied in selecting those he appointed as members of his cabinet under the Omi Tuntun 2.0 government.
Hon. Ige gave the commendation while congratulating the new Secretary to the State government, Professor Olanike Kudrat Adeyemo, Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, Commsisioner for Works and Transport, Professor Daud Sangodoyin and other members of cabinet sworn in by the Governor on Wednesday.
Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige described the calibre of the people appointed by the Governor as unprecedented in the history of the state as according to him, their appointments cut across all the geo political zone in the State and no federal constituency was left behind without having a representative in the cabinet formed.
According to him, “I want to congratulate all the new appointees starting from the Secretary to the State government, Professor Kudrat Adeyemo, Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, the State Accountant General and all the 16 Commissioners that were sworn in by His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde on their well deserved appointment.
Their appointment is a confirmation of their pedigree, achievements and past contributions to the development of our dear state. I therefore urge them as members of cabinet under our amiable leader, Engr Seyi Makinde to continue to toe the path of development by working hard for the success of Governor Makinde led administration under Omi Tuntun 2.0.
Hon. Ademola Ige who was a one time Council Chairman and Chairman Ibadan Properties Company Limited expressed optimism that the new appointees will do well and excel in their new portfolios and pledged his total support for them in the task ahead.
