Akorede LCDA Boss, Ayoade Lights Up Communities

In fulfilment of his resolve to ensure security of lives and property of residents within the nooks and crannies of Akorede Local Council Development area, the Political Head of the council, Hon Ayoade Olatunde has distributed Solar powered lights to all communities across the LCDA.

In his remark at the distribution ceremony, Hon. Olatunde stressed that all promises made by the present administration under him to the people are being fulfilled.

He Ayoade who described the first phase of the distribution of the solar powered lights as just tip of the ice berg, promised that the distribution of second phase would soon be commenced.

Speaking at the event, the Chairmanship Candidate of PDP in Oluyole Local Government in the upcoming local government election, Engr. Akeem Olatunji expressed gratitude to the people of Akorede LCDA for their understanding and unflinching supports for the LCDA Chairman at all times.

Engr Olatunji who is the immediate past Public Relations Officer of the party in the State, described Oluyole Local Government and Akorede LCDA as one, pledged that he would maintain a good rapport between the duo councils by the time he assumes office as the elected chairman.

He hinted that he is poised to ensure that residents of Oluyole/Akorede as a whole enjoys the dividends of democracy at the grassroot as exemplified by the government of Governor of Oyo State Engr. Seyi Makinde in the State.

Earlier in his address of welcome, the Head of Local Government Administration, Akorede LCDA, Engr Eniayewu Kehinde commended Hon. Ayoade Olatunde for prioritising his people’s wellbeing despite paucity of fund in the Council, and pledged the management’s support at all times.

In their separate remarks, the representatives of each communities across the council area expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Ayoade for his promptness in attending to any community issues brought before him and wished him a successful tenure.

Present at event were the Secretary to the LCDA, Asiwaju Olubodun Bolarinwa and other political stalwarts.
