Seek the face of God during Ramadan ― HoRs Hopeful, Olafisoye urges Muslim faithful

As Nigerians join the rest of the world for the commencement of this year Ramadan fasting, an aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Wasiu Olafisoye Akinmoyede (a.k.a. Lafi) has called on Muslim faithful to use the period of the fast to seek the face of God over the incessant killings, kidnapping and myriad of challenges confronting the country.

Hon. Olafisoye made the call in a Ramadan message he personally signed to congratulate Muslims in the country for witnessing this year Ramadan.

Olafisoye who is seeking to represent the Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency at the National Assembly during the 2023 general elections, hinted that the call became imperative in view of the fact that Nigerians are currently facing difficult times and government at all levels seem to have been overwhelmed by the insecurity and other challenges confronting them.

Hon. Olafisoye who was the former Chief Whip in the 8th Oyo State House of Assembly said though Nigerians have been praying, they should use the period of Ramadan to intensify their prayers and supplication to God Almighty to proffer solutions against wanton destruction, killings, maiming, kidnapping and unstable economy in the country.

While felicitating with Muslims in Oyo State especially in Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency, Hon. Olafisoye prayed God Almighty to spare their lives to witness the end of the fasting with good health and prosperity.
