Sallah: PDP Chieftain, Ige Congratulates Makinde, Deputy, Arapaja, Other Muslim Faithfuls

 

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has congratulated Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year Eid Al fitri, which signifies the end of 30 days fasting, urging them not to deviate from the principles and teachings of the holy month which are perseverance, kindness, compassion and peaceful co-existence.

Hon. Ademola Ige made this assertion in a statement he personally issued and made available to journalists in Ibadan today.

In the said statement, he extended his congratulatory message to the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, his Deputy, Barr. Bayo Lawal, Deputy National Chairman (South), Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland (Edo & Delta states), Alhaji Daud. Makanjuola, Chief Imam of Ibadan land, Alhaji Abdulganiyy Agbotomokekere and other Islamic clerics in the state.

Hon. Ige appealed to the people in the state to continue to give their maximum support to Engr. Seyi Makinde led administration in order to continue to sustain the level of development and peaceful co-existence in the state.

Hon. Ige who is also the immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor on Culture and Tourism, former council Chairman and State Lawmaker, enjoined the residents and citizens in the state to reciprocate the gesture of Engr. Seyi Makinde by voting massively for all the PDP Chairmanship candidates and councillors in the upcoming local government election slated for Saturday April 27, 2024.
