Esther Toko on Sunday, in Tokyo, earned qualification for the Final E of the women’s Single Sculls after clocking 9:07.70 to finish 3rd in the semi-finals E/F.

Esther Toko isn’t in contention for a medal in the event but she’s definitely on course to end her campaign on a high note in automatic qualification for future major Championships.
Esther originally placed 5th in the Rowing competition to miss out on a medal finish a couple of days back at the sea forest waterway but qualified for the repechage stage of the women’s single sculls event.
The 21-year-old is competing in her maiden Olympics at the Tokyo 2020 games.
