Arsenal produced a disappointing efficiency as they drew 0-0 at Brighton Saturday night.

Following their spectacular derby win over Tottenham last weekend, Mikel Arteta’s men were lucky to come away from the Amex Stadium with a point.

Arsenal is now unbeaten in 4 consecutive Premier League matches but a run of 3 consecutive victories against Norwich, Burnley and Tottenham has now come to an end.

Brighton was by far the better side in a game in which they created the better chances.

Leandro Trossard and Neal Maupay got clear scoring chances but were poor with the final balls.

Both teams were largely restricted to shooting from outside the box and neither goalkeepers were examined till the 76th minute when Emile Smith Rowe forced a save from Robert Sanchez.

Substitute Solly March had a superb opportunity to win the game with 5 minutes remaining however his tame shot was easily collected by Aaron Ramsdale.

Shane Duffy in added time had a possible moment however his header went off the mark.

Arsenal’s night was compounded when Bukayo Saka limped off late on.
