Tinubu’s Economic Agenda is for Nigeria’s Prosperity – Chairman APC Diaspora Forum

 

The new Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Diaspora,  Engr. Saheed Oladele Adeyemi has described the various policies so far taken by the President Bola Tinubu led administration has steps geared towards economic prosperity for Nigerians.

Engr. Saheed an indigene of Ayete in Ibarapa North Local Government area of Oyo State but presently lives in Texas United States of America stated this while speaking with journalists shortly after he held a meeting with the Oyo State Chairman of the party, Hon. Ajiboye Omodewu in his office on Thursday.

According to him, “I belief all the policies so far made by President Tinubu is for economic prosperity of all Nigerians. He is making those policies strategically that he thinks will drive the economy of the country forward for greater prosperity.

For instance the harmonization in the revenue collection to direct inflow of our revenue into a single account, The decentralization of power for competition for people to provide power at affordable rate and the removal of fuel subsidy that only few people were benefiting from before. Though all these policies are a little harsh on the people, they are in line with his vision of propelling the country towards greater economic prosperity and we must realize that Rome was not built in a day. I have confidence in his leadership and his sincerity of purpose.” He said.

Speaking on his visit to Hon. Omodewu, Engr Saheed said the purpose of the visit was to familiarize himself with the Chairman of the party as the newly appointed Chairman of APC Diaspora forum in Dallas Texas in the United States of America and to discuss the preparation of the party to participate in the upcoming local government election in the state

“I have just been appointed as the Chairman of APC Diaspora’s Forum and coincidentally I am in Nigeria when the appointment was made. Therefore, I used the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to the state chairman, Hon. Ajiboye Omodewu. The objective of the APC diaspora forum is to create structure in the various zones of the country and to recruit party members. So, we discussed registration of disapora members and how to integrate them into the party, activities that the diaspora members have done in the past, as well as the preparation of the party towards participating in the incoming local government council elections where APC is planning to be actively involved.”
