MMPN decries attack, Hoodlums invade Amuludun FM

Radio Nigeria, Ibadan was on Saturday invaded by persons suspected to be hoodlums.

The station, 99.1FM (Amuludun FM), located in the Moniya area of Ibadan, broadcasts in the Yoruba language and was established over a decade ago.

It was gathered that aside from guns, the invaders were also armed with other dangerous weapons including cutlasses, matches, and axes, etc. The invaders destroyed some property worth millions of naira during the invasion.

Some of the properties destroyed include windows of offices, office equipment, cars and others.

The General Manager of the station, Mr Niyi Dahunsi, confirmed the attack. He said the reason for the invasion has not is known. Meanwhile, security agents have been mobilised to prevent further attacks on the station.
