Veteran broadcaster and Group General Manager Fresh FM Nigeria, Alhaji Abolade Salami has dissociated himself from a publication trending in the media suggesting that he has been appointed as a member of the Media and Publicity Committee for the re-election of the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde.
In a statement issued and released to the media in Ibadan on Thursday night by the Ace broadcaster, Alhaji Salami said that he had at no time applied to serve as a member of the Media and Publicity Committee to campaign for the second term of Seyi Makinde.
Alhaji Salami urged members of the public to discountenance the publication. The statement was personally signed by Alhaji Abolade Salami.
