The Forum of Local Government Chief of Staff in Oyo State has congratulated Engr. Seyi Makinde, on his re-election as the Executive Governor of Oyo State for second term.
The Forum’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Hon. Oludaye Omogbolahan Olusegun and Secretary, Akinrinola Adewunmi John on behalf of other members of the forum, where they stressed that the outcome of the election represents the wishes of the people of Oyo state.
According to the statement, “we congratulate our leader and principal, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde on his re-election as the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
The outcome of the election represents the wishes of the people of our dear state who believe so much in the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde and want continuity of the good governance and great things that he stands for.
We equally extended our congratulatory message to the Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal, Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin and other House of Assembly members-elect on the platform of the PDP on their resounding victory.
Likewise, we rejoice with all the Executive council chairmen in the State and the entire PDP family.
It is our prayer that God strengthens the people’s governor physically, mentally and spiritually as he continues to pilot the affairs of Oyo State for the next four years.” The statement concluded.
