The only solution to the social economic crisis and corruption bedevilled the country is for Nigerians to go back to God with supplication and steadfastness.
This was contained in the eid il Kabir message signed by Alhaji Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke, the founder and spiritual head of Shafaudeen in Islam worldwide to felicitate with Muslim faithfuls on this year Ileya festival.
According to him, “we now live fake life leaving aside dignity of labour to corruptly enrich ourselves with blatant impunity.
The culture of integrity, good citizenry, from education, moral discipline from religious sector and ethical practices in leadership and governance are now replaced with corrupt practices because we fail to heed the voice of God in our chosen religion by playing lip service in worship; making us to be bereft of wisdom and power of discerning mind to proffer appropriate solution to our emerging challenges.
Prof. Olagoke however condemned the frequent attack by hoodlums who now kill and kidnapp for ritual purposes or to demand for ransom before releasing their victims .
While congratulating Muslims, Prof. Olagoke however, called on the Federal Government to stop paying lips sevice to security and other emerging issues that are negatively affecting the masses.
