A foremost support group of All Progressives Congress, APC Professionals Council has enjoined Nigerians to use the season of Christmas celebration in spreading the virtues of peace, love and sacrifice which is the purpose of Jesus Christ coming to the world.
The group stated this in a Christmas message issued and signed by its Oyo State Coordinator, Dr Bamidele Gold while felicitating with Christians on Christmas, imploring them to pray for the peaceful coexistence and progress of Nigeria.
According to Dr. Gold, “as we celebrate this Christmas, Nigerians should use this season in spreading the virtues of peace, love and charity which signifies the reason why Jesus Christ came to the world.
As we prepare for the conduct of the 2023 general elections, we must bear in mind that politics is an opportunity to serve the people and ensure good governance. Therefore, we must use this period to pray for a peaceful electioneering process that will usher in new set of leadership.
I hereby felicitate with the Christians all over the country and Oyo State on the celebration of this Christmas celebration and pray God Almighty that the coming new year will be prosperous for us and our family.” He said.
