Christian Pilgrims Urged To Showcase Humility

The Zonal Coordinator of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrimage, Mr. Nicholas Kiva has enjoined Pilgrims to be humble and project the image of the Country positively while in the Holy Land.

Mr. Nicholas Kiva who gave the charge at the screening of intending Pilgrims in Ilorin and other centres in the Zone urged the people to be humble in character, speech and pray for peace, progress and development of the Nation.

He also advised the intending pilgrims to remember the Country in their supplications to God and be their brother’s keeper while in the Holy Land.

Speaking on behalf of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, the Special Adviser to the kwara State Governor on Religious Christian , Reverned Timothy Akangbe commended the Governor for his support and relentless effort in building religion harmony in the State and also prayed God to grant his second term bid.

Chairman, Kwara State Christian Pilgrim Board, Evangelist Timothy Opoola who noted that sixty five intending Pilgrims would take part in the exercise, emphasised that the screening process is essential to give the intending Pilgrims a hitch free process.

The Leader of Delegates, Mr. Oyinloye Kayode who noted that there are Pilgrims for Isreal and Jordan, and Rome and Isreal charged them to be a good ambassador of the Country and avoid any acts of abscondment.

Speaking on behalf on the intending Pilgrims, Mr. Bello Babatunde expressed gratitude to the Board for their effort in ensuring a hitch free especially in their documentation processes.
