Africa on Tuesday evening booked a spot in the 2022 World Cup quarter-finals after a determined Atlas Lions of Morocco eliminated favourites Spain in their Last 16 encounter at the Education Stadium in Qatar.
The Africans had better scoring chances during full and extra time but missed all scoring chances.
In the ensuing penalty kicks, Spain hit the bar with their first kick while goalie Yassine Bono saved two Spanish kicks to fetch Morocco victory.
