A House of Representatives hopeful in Ogo Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency under the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Hon. Adegboyega Mathew Abioye has called on Nigerians not to be despaired about the myriad of problems confronting the nation at present but have faith that better days are ahead for them.
Hon. Abioye popularly called “Elder” stated this in a Christmas message he signed and made available to journalists, saying that every individual that is alive to witness this Christmas celebration should rather rejoice no matter the situation they are currently undergoing.
Hon. Abioye who was a two term lawmaker in the Oyo State House of Assembly between 2007 and 2015 tasked the Christians to reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ which signifies sacrifice, love, caring and sharing with one another, urging them to extend such love and care to the underprivileged people in their surroundings.
Hon. Abioye used the period to call on the people of Ogo Oluwa and Surulere federal constituency to cast their vote for him in the 2023 National Assembly election to represent the constituency with an assurance to give them quality representation and real dividends of democracy which has eluded them in the past.
He further enjoined Nigerians to use the season to offer fervent prayer to God to take absolute control before, during and after the 2023 general elections.
