Alawode Mourns the death of PDP Chieftain in Ib. South East LG

The Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government area, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Alawode has commiserated with the entire members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) over the death of a chieftain of the party in ward 8, Madam Funmilayo Kobomoje.

Madam Kobomoje popularly called “Mama Kobomoje” died in a ghastly motor accident along Ibadan expressway on Tuesday and had been buried according to Islamic rites.

Hon. Alawode who expressed shock over the death of the party chieftain, saying, “The unthinkable happened. We are saddened by the exit of a committed and loyal and hardworking person. It’s difficult to bear the pain considering the circumstances that led to her death.

My sincere condolences to your immediate family. May the Almighty uphold your family to bear this loss.

“You have played your part and left, and your democratic credentials should always spur us to greater service.”

Alawode therefore prayed to God to comfort Kobomoje’s family she left behind and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
