Aare of Ibadan Chieftaincy Title: PDP Chieftain, Ademola Ige Congratulates De-Damak, Wife
A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has joined other numerous sons and daughters of Ibadan to felicitate the Aare Musulimi of Yorubaland (Edo & Delta States), Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak) and his wife as they were confered with the chieftaincy titles as the Aare and Yeye Aare of Ibadan by the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Mahud Lekan Balogun today.
Hon. Ademola Ige who is the Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland and the immediate past Special Adviser to Governor Makinde on Culture and Tourism said it was a thing of joy that the effort of Aare Musulumi has again been recognized by his kinsmen in Ibadan.
Hon. Ige who stressed that the renowned business tycoon Alhaji Akinola has over the years known for his philanthropy, which transcends religion, ethnic or political affiliation.
Hon. Ige who is one of the well wishers that was present at the installation ceremony that took place at the Olubadan palace, added that Chief Makanjuola has special interest in any course that has to do with the development of Ibadan in particular and Oyo State as a whole.
Hon. Ige equally commended the Olubadan of Ibadan and the ehntire Olubadan in council for approving the selection of Alhaji Makanjuola’s choice for covetous position in Ibadan land.
He prayed Almighty God to grant the new Aare the wisdom, knowledge and everything he needed to carry out the task before him in his new assignment for the development of Ibadan land and beyond.
