A 53-year old Prince Olawale Sefiu Oyebola has emerged as the preferred candidate of the kingmakers as the new Aseyin of Iseyin.
The 10 kingmakers, it was gathered, arrived the palace of Aseyin in Iseyin around 10a.m this morning after security men have cordoned off the place to forestall any break in law and order since early Tuesday morning and voting process started, as planned by the officials of the Iseyin local government and security agents.
The outcome of the votes cast showed majority votes in favor of the 53-year old Prince Oyebola.
Prince Oyebola is the 30th Aseyin after the demise of late Dr. Abdganiy Salawudeen Adekunle Oloogunebi Ajinese 1.
He works and resides in the United States of America with his family and has always shown interest in the welfare of the community, which prompted his education foundation, under which indigent students of tertiary institutions access scholarship funding.
