Why I Installed Modern Street Lights at Divisional Police Stations — Alawode

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government area, Hon. Alawode Emmanuel Oluwole has explained that the reason why his administration installed modern street lights in all the divisional police stations in his local government was to strengthen the security system in every nooks and crannies in the council.

Tagged “Arole Omituntun Light Up Project”, Hon. Alawode said the gesture was geared towards the improvement of the overall security system of the council in line with the vision of the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde to boost security architecture in the State.

According to him, “this gesture is one of the series of interventions we have embarked upon to assist our security agencies to enhance their performances which we believe will in turn lead to the socio economic development in the local government.”

In a chat with Rulers’ World, Hon. Alawode further explained that his administration will continue to assist the security agencies for them to be able to fight crime and deal with any criminal minded people within the council area.

He used the medium to reiterate his administration’s unflinching commitment to the uplifting of the welfare of the people, adding that he will always endeavour to bring to fruition his great dreams of better life for the entire citizens in his council area.

The divisional police stations that benefited from Arole Omi Tuntun light up project were Idi Aro police station, Felele police station, Sanyo police station, Orita Aperin police station and Mapo police station respectively.
