The House of Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Oluyole State constituency in the March 11, 2023 election, Hon. Waheed Akintayo has congratulated the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for successful hosting the G-5 Integrity Governors that graced the flag off of his re-election campaign yesterday.
Hon. Waheed Akintayo popularly called Ilumoka presenter equally congratulated the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, State party Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro, Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke and other members of the State working committees, leaders and members of the party in Oluyole local government for trooping out enmasse to show support for the Governor at the flag off ceremony which took place at the ancient Mapo hall yesterday.
Hon. Akintayo who expressed his happiness with the mammoth crowd that attended the ceremony, hinted that governor Makinde has done excellently well to lead the state for a second term in office.
Hon. Akintayo who urged party faithfuls to mobilize massively for the campaign that will take place at Igbo Ora in Ibarapaland on Saturday 7th January, 2023 where party’s flag is expected to be presented to him and other house of assembly candidates in Oyo State, stressed that the success of the party is a collective efforts of all lovers of good governance that Engr. Makinde represents in the State.
