Tinubu is our Best Player, With Him We’ll Win With Landslide – Sen Folarin

The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin has described the party’s presidential flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the best political player that any serious political party will be happy to have in its side, saying with him, the APC will coast home to victory in the february 25 elections.

Senator Folarin stated this, while featuring on the programme organised by Oyo State Correspondents’ Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Ibadan on Tuesday.

According to him, “for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, it is like intoxication. He is like Lionel Messi of Nigerian politics. So, when you have him on your side, you have to use him. He is our Best Player.”

Senator Folarin who further described Tinubu as the most competent and credible candidate, noted that his preparedness to lead a greater Nigeria was evident in his track records while serving as Governor of Lagos State.

The Oyo’s gubernatorial candidate who disclosed that preparations were in top gear by the party in the State to host Asiwaju and other top dignitaries in the party on Tuesday 7th February, stressed further that while in Ibadan, he would use the opportunity to meet with the traditional rulers and political leaders on the same day to share his manifesto with them.

“Tinubu is coming to the state on February 7 and our plan is to organize the best rally so far. And on February 9, we will start our campaign rallies that everyone is expecting.”

Folarin who described himself as the most prepared and experienced among the top candidates that are gunning for the governorship seat in Oyo State having been elected as Senator for three times and held a position as Senate leader, promised to leverage on these experiences to run his administration, if elected.

Folarin who promised to boost the state’s revenue base and improve its economy through agriculture, however, urged the people to support and vote for all APC candidates in the general elections.
