Super Eagles defender joins Saudi Arabian club

Nigerian International defender, Ifeanyi Anaemena has completed a move to Al Nahda FC from Rivers United FC.

The over six feet tall defender, formerly of Enyimba FC, disclosed from Saudi Arabia that he is very relieved at making his dream move abroad.

“I have waited for this move to happen and I am buzzing to be here. Al-Nahda is a great club and I want to contribute my part and be part of the history of the club”, Anaemena reiterated.

Al Nahda Club is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In the 2007–2008 season, under the lead of Croatian coach, Dragan Talajić, Al Nahda played the finals of the Prince Faisal Cup, being the first team from the Saudi Second League to play in the final.

The club is currently campaigning in the Saudi first division and there are three other African players from Tunisia in its squad.
