The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu has explained the reason for the redeployment of Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Denton Police Division, CSP Adegoke Atilade over his alleged involvement in a sex scandal.
The CP, according to the spokesperson, Lagos State Police Command, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, said, in the interest of fairness and justice, he ordered the redeployment of CSP Atilade to pave way for a diligent and unbiased investigation.
“Members of the public are hereby assured that appropriate actions will be taken against anyone found culpable after the ongoing investigation such that at the end, justice would have been served,” he added.
The CP also ordered an independent, thorough and unbiased investigation into the case.
