Former Attorney General and Commisssioner for Justice in Kwara state,Titus Ashaolu SAN,
has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval of massive cost cutting exercise across federal establishment would reduce cost of governance and boost the economy.
Speaking with Newsmen on the development ,Titus Ashaolu SAN,said the directive for cost cutting came at the right time adding that it shows the president meant well for the country.
According to him the exercise would enable government save a lot of money and boast the economy.
He said the appointment of political aides should also be reviewed and their number reduced to save cost.
He advised the residents of the state and Nigerians in general to remain patience as government unfolds it programmes.
The legal luminary urged Nigerians to give government policies and programme the necessary support to enable it succeed.
Titus Ashaolu SAN also urged government to expedite action in the repair of the nation’s refineries,check inflation,as well as increase the value of our currency to make the country great.
He noted that a marketing board should be introduced to control high cost of food and other commodities in the country.
Titus Ashaolu SAN , called on the state government to support the presidential initiative and replicate same at the state level.
