Ramadan: House of Reps Member-Elect, Olafisoye Felicitates Muslims

As Muslims across the world commence the year 2023 Ramadan fasting today, a member elect for Akinyele/Lagelu federal House of Representatives, Hon. Olafisoye Wasiu Akinmoyede has congratulated Muslim Ummah in Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole for witnessing the commencement of the 30 days fasting in sound health.

In his congratulatory message personally signed and made available to journalists, Hon. Olafisoye who was elected in the February 25 presidential and national Assembly elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said Nigerians have every cause to appreciate God Almighty for sparing their lives despite the economic and security challenges bedevilled the country in the build up to the 2023 general elections.

According to Lafi “I rejoice and congratulate our Muslim Ummah on this special occasion. May Allah in His infinite mercy, protect, bless and grant us grace to witness the end of this holy month in joy, happiness and prosperity.”

He urged the Muslims faithful to adhere to the virtue of Prophet Muhammad, which epitomizes spirit of discipline, love, patience, perseverance and peace, noting that these will ensure tolerance and progress in individual homes, families and Nigeria as a whole.

Hon. Lafi used the occasion to once again appreciate the good people of Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency for overwhelmingly supported him with their votes which made his victory possible in the said election, promising not to disappoint them when he assumes office with other elected lawmakers at the National Assembly.
