Queen Elizabeth II Begins Final Journey Home

Queen Elizabeth II, on Sunday, will embark on her final journey with thousands of her mourning subjects lining her coffin route from Balmoral Castle to Edinburgh.

Queen Elizabeth’s journey starts a day after her son, Charles III was formally proclaimed King.

The coffin of Britain’s longest-serving monarch will make a six-hour journey through Scottish towns on a hearse before arriving in Edinburg where it will rest for two days so people can pay tribute.

In an event expected to draw at least a million people and ahead of a funeral, Queen Elizabeth II who died aged 96, would be lying in state for four days.
