PDP Stakeholders in Ib. South East LG Donate Cash, Other Campaign Materials for Alawode/Ogundeji Re-Election Bid

Ahead of the upcoming local government election slated for Saturday 27th April, 2024 in Oyo State, various stakeholders and party members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan South East local government area have continued to make huge donations towards the kick off of the campaign for the re-election of Hon. Alawode Emannuel Oluwole and his vice, Hon. Teslim Ogundeji and other 12 PDP councillorship candidates in the said local government area.

Those that have made donations include the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, the Commissioner for Works and Transport, Prof. Daud Sangodoyin, the Director-General of the campaign council, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, the incumbent chairman who is also the party’s candidate, Hon. Alawode, and the council’s Secretary, Hon. Sunday Babatunde.

Others include Hon. Adewole Adebayo, Hon. Ahmed Qasim, Hon.Folagbae Adeleke (Super), Hon. Mrs Abiona, while Dr Kazeem Abidikugu and Hon. Aminu who donated posters and T-shirts respectively to the campaign council.

The gestures, according to the party’s stakeholders and other donors, are to complement the efforts of the Central Campaign Committee towards the successful campaign activities to ensure landslide victories for all the party’s candidates in the coming local government election.

The stakeholders gave assurances of their continuous support throughout the period of campaign activities.

While acknowledging the gesture, the campaign D-G, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige who is also one of the donors said the gesture would enhance both the Chairmanship and the councillorship candidates’ chances to win with wide margins at the Local Government polls.

Also appreciating the donors, the party’s chairmanship candidate, Hon. Alawode who is the incumbent Chairman said he was very proud of each and every party stakeholders that have contributed for their generosity, stressing that he will never take everyone’s support for granted before, during and after the election.
