PDP Primaries: Embrace peace, tranquility, togetherness as we elect our standard bearers – Arapaja charges delegates, stakeholders

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja has charged delegates and critical stakeholders of the party to @ peace and unity as the party is set to elect candidates that will represent the party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Ambassador Arapaja made the charge in a release signed by his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim and available to news men by shortly after an expanded stakeholders meeting he held with all the delegates that will vote during the party’s primary slated for tomorrow 22nd May, 2022 at his Felele residence.

While addressing the delegates, Amb. Arapaja emphasized the need for all members of the party to embrace peace, tranquility, and togetherness during and after the party primaries.

“I want to use this medium to plead with all members of our great party, to go into this primary exercise as a big family and eschew any issue capable of bringing disunity among us.

We must place premium on unity, peace and party supremacy and always remember our major enemies- opposition parties. The need to work assiduously together for a common goal can never be over emphasized. We must remember that one of our missions is to dislodge the ruling party from the presidency, come 2023,” and also to win more states, and majority of the Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly seats. PDP must be well positioned to achieve this.” He added.

Ambassador Arapaja further stressed that PDP remains the only voice, hope and leading light of the masses and is on the path of rescuing mission which Nigerians yearning for. “We must thrrefore be ready to genuinely work together while we wrestle power from oppressors who have nothing to offer Nigerians.” He concluded.
