A member of the House of Representatives representing Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, Hon. Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu has expressed a deep shock over the death of his colleague, Hon. Olaide Akinremi Musiliudeen whose death occurred early this morning.
In a condolence message personally issued by Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede and made available to journalists, he said that Hon. Olaide Akinremi who until his death represented Ibadan North federal constituency at the House of Representatives was devastating and very hard to believe.
Hon. Olafisoye disclosed that late Akinremi Jagaban was his very close friend whose passion for the development of his constituency and humanity was unquantifiable.
He added that Hon. Akinremi had always toiled to give his best for the emancipation of the downtrodden ever before he came into politics.
“I am very sad and disheartening over the sudden and untimely death of my very good friend and colleague, Hon. Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi Jagaban which I find very hard to believe.
He was a consummate politician, a pillar of support and devoted public servant.
Throughout his tenure as a second term lawmaker, he had always championed numerous causes that would make the voice of the voiceless heard. He was kind, humane, accessible and brought hope to countless people who had lost hope in the society.
His impact as a lawmaker was positively felt in the area of health, education, job creation and community development. He was a very good asset to his immediate constituency, Oyo State, National Assembly and Nigeria as a whole.
I hereby commiserate with his immediate family members, Ibadan North federal Constituency where he represented, our party, APC and the Oyo state government over this unfortunate incident.
I pray Almighty Allah to grant him Aljanat fridaus and grant his family and all of us he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Adieu Hon. Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi Jagaban.”
