Umoafia Edidiong Joseph has won a Bronze medal for Nigeria in the Men’s 67KG category.
Umoafia lifted 130kg in the snatch, 160kg in the Clean and Jerk with a total of 290kg.
The feat has increased Nigeria’s medal haul to two, one gold medal from same Weightlifting the previous day in the women category.
Team Nigeria is expected to move up the ladder in the medals ranking.
