NDLEA: Naira Marley cries out over arrested label mates

Popular Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley has cried out over the arrest of some of his label mates picked by the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency recently, as he said the arrest was beginning to look like a pattern.

The duo of Mohbad and Zinoleesky, who are both signed under Niara Marley’s record label – Marlian Records, were arrested by the NDLEA during the week on allegations of drug usage.

Naira Marley, however, alleged that the arrest was made in the middle of the night without a warrant and that his guys were physically assaulted by the agency.  He added the arrest was “disgusting and unfair” and that he was a victim law enforcement agents, now his artistes are victims too.

“What is happening to my brothers is disgusting. This injustice is unfair and this is beginning to look like a pattern. First, me, now my artistes.” He also claimed Mohbad had been released as at the time of writing this report and called for the release of the other artistes. “Free Zinoleesky, free Shubomi, Micee and Dosky,” he wrote.
