It is no longer news that Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to the Deputy Senate President on Legal matters, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawyer who was a ranking member of the APC resigned a few hours after the presidential standard-bearer of the party, despite strict opposition from others, went ahead and picked a Muslim Northerner as his running mate.
Speaking to Arise News during an interview, Daniel Bwala said Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, who had earlier expressed his desire to work for Tinubu after Shettima was announced as his running mate, has communicated his intention to leave the APC for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and deliver Borno State for PDP just to prove that Shettima is a paperweight politician.
“Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has expressed his desire to resign, join the PDP and ensure he delivers Borno State for PDP”
“I’m aware, by privilege, of key people that are resigning in the coming days and out of respect, I would not want to mention their names”.
