LGSPB Boss Ige Bags SWEF’s Award for Excellence Performance

The Chairman of Oyo Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige yesterday bagged the excellence performance award bestowed on him by the Southern Women Empowerment Forum, Oyo state chapter.

The award was presented to him during the investiture and inauguration of state and local government executives of SWEF in Oyo State, held at Jogor Event centre, Liberty road, Ibadan in acknowledging his hardworking and high standard performance within the few months he has spent as the chairman of Local Government Staff Pension Board.

Speaking at the programme, Hon. Ademola Ige commended the state coordinator Hon. Chief Mrs Iyabo Aminat Kobiowu’s effort and SWEF in driving initiatives that positively impact the lives of women in the southern region and pledged his continued support for programmes aimed at championing the causes traditionally associated with women folk.

Earlier in her speech, the National President of SWEF, Dr. Helen Taiwo Adebakin explained that her vision for the women forum was divinely inspired.

She further explained that the aim of the forum is to provide a platform for women in the southern region to network, share experiences and support each other in all aspects of life, including education, employment, healthcare and leadership.

The programme was attended by eminent personalities including wife of the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Mrs Ajibola Lawal also one of the awardee who was represented at the occasion, representative of Chief Mrs Mutiat Ladoja, representative of Hon. Remi Oseni. CCII President-General, Barr. Ajeniyi Ajewole, Dr. Mrs Olufunke Adetuberu Founder of SHE matters, the PDP chairman in Ibadan South East Local Government, Engr. Suleiman Adesina among others.
