Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede, a House of Representatives member elect for Akinyele Lagelu federal constituency in the last Saturday presidential and national Assembly election said he dedicated his victory to God and his constituents.
Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede popularly called ‘Lafi’ stated this yesterday in a statement he personally signed and made available to news men in Ibadan to react to thank party members, his supporters and followers for their support before and during the election that resulted in his victory at the poll.
He said his victory was made possible by God Almighty and his people’s ”uncommon courage, sacrifice and patience in the face of undaunted hardship and agony that Nigerians were experiencing as the 2023 general elections approached.
Hon. Olafisoye express his profound appreciation to all the traditional rulers and Chiefs in both Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, the APC chairmen in Akinyele/Lagelu local government areas and other members of local and ward executives, supporters and party leaders, religious leaders, artisans, leaders and members of the various groups and associations for their support.
Hon. Olafisoye equally thanks his friends and family members who contributed immensely in making this history possible, saying he would not renege in ensuring quality and effective representation as promised during the electioneering campaign activities.
He, however, called on opposition candidates that contested with him especially PDP candidate, Prince Abideen Adeaga to accept the outcome of the election in good faith and joined hands with him in the interest of the development of Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency.
