Kwara NSCDC Seeks Residents Supports With Security Agents

As The Corps Train Vigilante/ Hunters Ahead 2023 General Elections.

With less than 30 days to the 2023 general election in the country, appeal has gone to the residents of Kwara State to avoid any action or inaction that can mar the peaceful conduct of the elections in the State.

The Kwara State Commandant of the NSCDC, Muhammed Ibrahim Tukur stated this on Friday during the passin out parade of the 266 vigilante and hunters in Ilesha Baruba, Baruten LGA of the State who has taken part in the week long security empowerment training organised by the Gwanara Division of the Corps.

Represented by the NSCDC Area Commander in Baruten,ACC.Muntari Zakari the Commandant declared readiness of the all security agents in the State to assure and endure an hitch free and peaceful conduct before, during and after the elections.

” Security is the collective responsibility and that is why NSCDC deem it fit to embark on security empowerment for the vigilante and hunters because we have the belief that we are working to achieve common goals” The Commandant declared.
