Ib. South East LG to Confer Award of Recognition on Makinde’s Ex-Aide, Ige, Arapaja, Others Tomorrow

All arrangements have been concluded by the Ibadan South East Local Government area, Mapo to confer an award of recognition on the immediate past Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige.

This was made known in a letter of invitation sent to Hon. Ademola Ige dated 9th January, 2024 and signed by the Deputy Director of Admin & General Services, Olatubosun O.O. on behalf of the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Emmanuel Alawode.

The award, according to the letter, was in recognition of Hon. Ige’s contribution to the progress and development of the said council.

Others to be awarded, Rulers’ World News media learnt include the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, Hon. Abiola Oduola, Hon. Tope Yusuph and others.

The award ceremony is slated for tomorrow 11th January, 2024 at the Conference Hall of the local government by 10.00a.m. prompt.

Hon. Akem Ademola Ige, it would be recalled, was a three time chairman of the said local government area. During his tenure, he made significant impacts and single handedly employed no fewer than 380 unemployed youths and has continued to contribute his quotas to the overall development of the council since he left the office as council Chairman in 2007.
