The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 House of Assembly election for Oluyole State constituency, Hon. Waheed Akintayo (a.k.a. Ilumoka presenter) has disclosed that he is in the race to make positive impact in the lives of the people in his constituency area.
He stated this during a Thank You tour he made to wards 01 and 07 in Oluyole local government area recently.
While addressing the party members, Hon. Akintayo stressed the important of supporting candidate who will provide quality representation and influence projects that will have direct bearing in the lives of the people, adding that having this at the back of his mind was the reason he offered himself to serve.
While appreciating all the Leaders, members of the local and ward executives for their support and commitment towards the re-election bid of the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Akintayo encouraged them not to relent in their effort at canvassing, mobilizing and campaigning for all candidates of the PDP at all levels, assuring that the dividends of democracy will be given to everybody without discrimination.
