The Harmony Estate Resident Association adhoc units team of the Medical/Sanitation has organised a free health care services to resident of the community in Ilorin Kwara State
Speaking with newsmen in Ilorin on the sideline of the medical outreach held during the Estate Resident Association General Meeting in Ilorin recently, the Chairman Harmony Estate.
Residents Association Sobi Road Ilorin, Babaijo Otepola Adeolu Jp, p said the essence of the programme is to galvanize members for better living, as well extended to Shao garage occupants.
He said “The medical outreach, being the first time that involves members of the largest estate in the State,(500 housing units) was very successful.
“I acknowledged the resilient spirit of the adhoc unit team, and invited Medical Doctors from the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Ilorin, who patiently attended to the citizens for 8hours and encouraged those with discovered life threatening illnesses to approach nearby State Primary Health Center for sustainable medical treatment.”
“It is hopeful with enough logistics support that the program will be repeated once in every quarter about six medical doctors and eight Nurses are together involved.
“About 85 adults fully registered for the treatment, and 23 adolescent joined their parents for the exercise” he said
“We are appreciative of the Medical/ Sanitation ad hoc units team. It had a resounding effect. The guest medical staff of UITH Ilorin are together blessed respectively for their labour of love. ( Dr Oyewole, Dr Owolabi (male), Dr Obilowo Mubarak, and 2 others on duty.The people are asking for more” He added
