The Katsina State House of Assembly was, in the early hours of Wednesday, engulfed with fire.
It was gathered that the inferno destroyed a part of the Assembly complex.
It was learnt that the fire, which started at the chamber, spread to other sections of the House.
A source disclosed that the fire outbreak destroyed some property including sensitive documents of the House of Assembly, adding that operatives of the state fire service stations were on ground to put out the fire.
